It may seem strange to drink a tea derived from a Nettle plant that can cause a stinging rash if you fall into it.Back then we would never had guessed that such an evil plant could in fact be hugely beneficial to us when we finally grew up and starting supping it as a tea.

The Nettle plant or Urtica Dioica as is it’s Latin name, is currently enjoying a surge in popularity drank as a tea and until recent years, many of us was not even aware it existed. Even thought the plant is venomous, once boiled the the plant is safe which is why Nettle herbal tea is possible.

You can even make the tea youself from fresh plants but should only be done if you really know what your doing.Although you might just as well purchase nettle teabags since they will not break the bank and if you are like me, then you would rather have someone else picking them and preparing them to reduce the chances of getting stung.
